All GP consultations require appointments, however we do keep openings for emergencies. They can be made by online booking or by calling our practice at 07 5422 9399.
Clinic Support: Our Practice Manager takes your calls and assists you when you come in for your appointment. They are happy to help with useful information, other than specific medical issues, which are better addressed with our nurses and our doctors. Additional practice information is available here.

There is a pharmacy right inside the practice for the convenience of our patients. There are a large number of on-site car parks and easy wheel chair access.

Woodford Doctors is now a mixed billing practice. Appointment fees will apply for most bookings. Discounted fees will be offered to some patients including children 15 and under, pensioners and concession card holders. The GPs consulting at our practice would like to have been able to continue bulk billing, but due to the unmoving Medicare rebate payable for the health services the doctors provide, unfortunately this is no longer sustainable for the clinic. We understand that everyone will have different feelings about this change. While you may be angry or upset, please make sure you do not direct this towards our team members – we are here to provide you with quality healthcare and being abusive towards our clinic staff will not help to change what is an issue with the government’s approach to Medicare.
The BEST way you can help to action change is to make a complaint about the Medicare freeze. Please contact your local Federal member and ask them what they are doing to stop the freeze.

Doctor Renu Lakra
Dr Lakra joins the team at Woodford Doctors after spending time in a Clinic in Tasmania. Dr Lakra completed her MBBS in 2008, she holds a Certificate in Dermatology, quality assured by Bond University.

Doctor Daniel Jonasson
Dr Daniel Jonasson qualified as a GP in Sweden in 2018 and arrived in Australia with his family in 2019. Dr Daniel is fluent in English, Swedish and proficient in Danish and Norwegian.

Dr Daniel is skilled in the following procedures:
- Skin cancer biopsies and excisions.
- Cryotherapy (freezing) of benign skin lesions (molluscs, warts, skin tags, age spots).
- Excision of benign skin lesions (skin tags, seborrheic keratosis, age spots)
- Wedge resection of ingrown toenails.
- Nasal cauterization for recurrent nose bleeds
- Corticosteroid injections of joints (shoulders, knees, hips, wrists, fingers).
Doctor Stephanie Pommerel
Dr Stephanie Pommerel graduated from University of Queensland in 2019. She completed training at Caboolture Hospital, including general medicine, general surgery, emergency, cardiology and respiratory medicine, and obstetrics & gynaecology. Dr Stephanie has been working in General Practice since January 2022, and loves all aspects of general practice. She gained extra qualifications, including Diploma of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (June 2022), Graduate Certificate of Health Promotion from University of the Sunshine Coast (2022), Focused Psychological Strategies from the Australian Society for Psychological Medicine (2023), and is due to complete a Graduate Diploma of Child Health through University of Western Sydney in mid-2024.
Dr Stephanie has special interests in paediatrics, adolescent health, women’s health, relationship/family health, psychological medicine, health promotion. She has also worked in aged care.

Doctor Michael Rayner
Dr Michael Rayner is a Queensland born, Australian trained doctor with over 14 years experience. He practices evidence based medicine across a broad range of disciplines.
He has a particular interest in musculoskeletal complaints, procedures, skin cancer surgery, as well as general healthcare and preventative medicine.
He offers skin checks, joint injections, healthy heart checks, over 75 health checks, weight loss consultations and mens health checks. Aesthetic consultations are also available.
Additional costs apply for mental health consultations, insurance and centrelink paperwork.
