WE ARE NOW A MIXED BILLING PRACTICE
Doctors at Eatons Hill is no longer a bulk billing clinic. Appointment fees will apply for most GP bookings at this clinic. Discounted fees will be offered to some patients including children 15 and under, pensioners and concession card holders. The GPs consulting at our practice would like to have been able to continue bulk billing, but due to the unmoving Medicare rebate payable for the health services our doctors provide, unfortunately this is no longer sustainable for the clinic. We understand that everyone will have different feelings about this change. While you may be angry or upset, please make sure you do not direct this towards our team members – we are here to provide you with quality healthcare and being abusive towards our clinic staff will not help to change what is an issue with the government’s approach to Medicare. The BEST way you can help to action change is to make a complaint about the Medicare freeze. Please contact your local Federal member and ask them what they are doing to stop the freeze.

Doctor Gabriela Popa
Dr Gabriela Popa relocated to Australia in 2020 with her family and settled in beautiful Eatons Hill. She is a vocationally registered GP, registered with RACGP. Dr. Gabriela Popa was born in Romania and completed her Medical Degree in 2000. She continued her studies and became a fellow in Rehabilitation Medicine. In 2007 she moved to New Zealand where she re-trained and practiced as a general practitioner since 2015. While in training she has done papers in Women’s Health through Auckland University, part of her interest of Women’s Health.
In her spare time, Gabriela enjoys going to the beach, watching movies or reading, painting and art crafting.

- Women’s Health, including Implanon insertion and removal, Mirena removal.
- Antenatal care
- Adolescent and children’s health
- Chronic disease management
- Skin cancer checks and management

Doctor Mayoor Agarwal
Dr Mayoor completed his training in the UK. Dr Mayoor completed his MBBS in 2005. He then went on to complete his DRCOG Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists from Kings College London in 2010. In 2013 he completed his MRACGP – Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners. Dr Mayoor also studied ENT for many years however chose to go back to working as a GP as he enjoys the continuation of family care that general practice offers. In 2019 he completed advanced certificate(s) with the University of QLD in Skin Recognition and Surgery.
