OUR BILLING IS CHANGING
From 1 July 2022, Doctors at Morayfield will be a mixed billing practice and appointment fees will apply for most bookings with our Doctors. Discounted fees will be offered to some patients including children 15 and under, pensioners and concession card holders.
Why is this change happening?
We would like to have been able to continue bulk billing, but due to the unmoving Medicare rebate payable for the health services our doctors provide, unfortunately this is no longer sustainable for the clinic. We understand that everyone will have different feelings about this change. While you may be angry or upset, please make sure you do not direct this towards our team members – we are here to provide you with quality healthcare and being abusive towards our clinic staff will not help to change what is an issue with the government’s approach to Medicare. The BEST way you can help to action change is to make a complaint about the Medicare freeze. Please contact your local Federal member and ask them what they are doing to stop the freeze.
With AGPAL accreditation, we ensure our patients are satisfied that they are receiving the highest level of care and we show our commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvements, at the highest standards.
Our clinic has 7 comfortable consulting rooms, a modern and fully equipped treatment room, 2 dedicated procedure rooms, with state-of-the-art equipment, so we can ensure the comfort and safety of our patients in providing the best healthcare services.
Our family oriented practice receives young families through to the elderly and we pride ourselves in the long lasting relationships we create with our patients. And we are always welcoming new members to our medical community family!
